Both Hamilton High Orchestras, the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra, received a Superior Rating – “1” at the Ohio Music Educators’ Association Large Group Competition on Friday, February 28th. The orchestras are under the direction of Mr. James Ledbetter, who is assisted by Mr. Bob Borden, Mrs. Christin House-Shumway and student teacher, Sarah Blumberg.

This is the first time that Hamilton High has been represented by two separate orchestras at this competition.

The Hamilton Orchestra program is celebrating their 99th anniversary this year. Currently over 570 students are in Orchestra in grades 5 through 12.

Again, congratulations to Mr. Ledbetter and the students of the Hamilton High School Orchestras!
