On Saturday, September 27, Hamilton High School, 1165 Eaton Avenue, will host its 38th Annual Band-O-Rama. The competition will take place at Hamilton High School’s Schwarm Stadium. Opening ceremonies begin at 5:15 p.m. with a performance by Hamilton’s newly formed Junior Guard and conclude with the award presentations at approximately 9:15 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults; $5 for students (with school I.D.) and senior citizens; under 12 are free with paying adult.

6:00 – Valley View High – Class B
6:15 – Finneytown – Class B
6:30 – Taylor – Class B
6:45 – Clinton-Massie – Class B
7:00 – Madeira – Class B
7:35 – Hamilton – Class AA
7:50 – Fairfield – Class AA
8:05 – Lakota West – Class AA
The bands will compete for awards in their class (classes are determined by school enrollment), as well as a rating based upon Ohio Music Educators Association guidelines. Bands who receive a Superior Rating will qualify for the Ohio State Marching Band Finals.
Concessions will be available featuring marching tacos, freshly made Richards Pizza and SnoDays shaved ice.
