It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”  This is the first line of the book, “Pride and Prejudice”, by Jane Austen. In this story, the audience will watch as Mrs. Bennett sets out to find suitable, and wealthy,  young men for her 5 daughters to marry.  As one might expect, there are many twists and turns along the way.

HHS Big Blue Company will present “Pride and Prejudice”, adapted from the widely loved novel by Jane Austen. Performances will be Friday, January 23rd at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students, senior citizens, and HCSD staff.  Tickets may be reserved by calling 514-887-4824.
