The district’s annual FILL THAT BUS food drive campaign for Shared Harvest was another success! Our contributions this year weighed 28,574 pounds – an increase of 3,000 pounds from last year’s total.
The Hamilton High School’s Carpentry students used their classroom curriculum learning of forklifting skills and proper lifting techniques to transport the boxes of donations from the school buses. They placed the boxes on pallets, shrink wrapped them, and used a forklift to place on the 18 wheeler truck to transport to Shared Harvest.
The district THANKS everyone who contributed to this worthy cause to show COMPASSION for those less fortunate.
