Cutting Edge Earns Grand Champion Trophy

Congratulations to our middle school show choir, Cutting Edge, on their  Middle School Grand Champion win at the South Dearborn High School “Opening Knight Show Choir Competition” on Saturday, March 7.  In addition to the Grand Champion trophy, they brought home trophies for” Best Male Vocalist” (Nathan Powers), and “Best Choreography” in the Middle School Division. Tanner Hamblin was awarded “Best Performer” for the group.

The group also won the “People’s Choice Award” in the Middle School Division in which spectators made monetary donations to the group of their choice with proceeds going toward the Lauren Hill’s “The Cure Starts Now” Foundation.

Cutting Edge is under the direction of Miss Meg Haven and Mr. Cody Rush and is made up of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders from Hamilton Freshman, Garfield Middle, and Wilson Middle Schools.
