Teacher Academy Students Win at State Competition

The HHS Teacher Academy program competed at the State FEA Competition last weekend.  The students did a fantastic job of representing the Big Blue at the conference.
Kaitlyn Randall won 3rd place in the state for her speech on teacher retention and recruitment.  Veda Morrison and Shelby Bushnell won 3rd place in the state for their Children’s Story.   Heather Sunberg, Courtney Mathis, and Kirsten Lunsford earned a top 5 place in the state for their video and presentation over BYOD at HHS.  Jordan Walton, Jack Henry, Avery Bartels, and Rachel Harding earned a top 5 finish for their technology video.
Ten of our students ultimately qualified for FEA Nationals in Washington D.C., which is a huge honor.  The district couldn’t be prouder of their conduct and professionalism throughout the experience.
