For the third straight year, the Big Blue Marching Band has earned the right to compete at the OMEA State Marching Band Contest.  They earned their spot at the 4th Annual Indian Invitational at Valley High School in Lucasville, Ohio, by receiving a Superior (I) rating.

The band received five out of seven superior ratings which gave them an overall Superior Rating. Achieving this rating qualified them for an invitation to O.M.E.A ‘s State Marching Band Finals in November. The band received 1st place in class AA and Best Overall Percussion out of 9 bands on the day. The HHS Color Guard also received 2 Superior Ratings. The Big Blue percussion received the award for Best Overall Percussion.
