The Crucible,  the classic written by american playwright, Arthur Miller, takes place 1692 during the infamous Salem Witch Trials. In the Puritan village of Salem, Massachusetts, a group of girls is discovered dancing naked in the woods at night. In order to avoid punishment, the girls claim that they have fallen under the spell of a witch. Soon, personal vengeance and hysteria cause the girls to blame nearly anyone. People are killed for being witches and the entire village erupts in chaos. Who can save the people from the girls’ accusations? How can the village return to normalcy? How many will die before the insanity ends?
