GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT:  Dr. Sarah Belew Cox graduated from Hamilton High School in 2003. After attending the Big Blue, she majored in Psychology and minored in Gerontology at Miami University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. Sarah moved to Chicago, IL immediately following her college graduation to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She received a generalist Psy.D. degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, during which time she gained clinical experience at Cook County Jail, Stroger Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Sarah completed her doctoral internship at the Talbert House in Cincinnati, OH and graduated in 2012. Following her internship and doctoral graduation, Sarah continued employment at the Talbert House as a post-doctoral fellow, and served as a Clinical Supervisor and licensed Clinical Psychologist.   The specialty team Sarah lad provides individual, family and group therapy to youth and adults who have experienced trauma and sexual behavior problems, in addition to other behavioral health concerns. She is currently working at TriHealh’s Women’s Institute.
