Bridgeport Artists’ Work on Display at The Studio

Bridgeport art students learned about the Hispanic Holiday, “Day of the Dead”.  Art teacher, Abby Jackson, helped them learn the meaning behind the “Day of the Dead” celebration. Students also learned about the art-making process of collage. Students used their new knowledge to create a portrait of a person or character they considered important using various types of paper in the “Day of the Dead” style.

A sample of the finished pieces can be seen at The Studio, at 118 Main Street.
