Fine Arts Update February 27, 2017

Congratulations to our Fine Arts groups who competed this past weekend..

Hamilton High’s Rhapsody in Blue attended the Loveland Showfest show choir competition receiving 3rd place in their division and 4th place overall.  The group was also awarded “The Heart of Loveland” award  given to the group showing great sportsmanship and character. Kelvin Mantey was awarded “Best Performer” for Rhapsody.

Cutting Edge received 2nd place in Showfest’s Middle School competition.   Sam Covert was awarded “Best Male Soloist”.  Kyle Hodgkin was awarded “Best Instrumental Soloist”. Laney Brann was awarded “Best Performer” for Cutting Edge.

Hamilton High’s Winter Guard, was moved up from A to AA by Winter Guard International (WGI) based on their past performance and finished in 1st place in their new category at Bellmont’s Winter Guard Competition.
