Ridgeway Elementary Students presented “The Wizard of Oz” to 2 full-house audiences on March 27th and 29th.  About 120 student took part in this delightful production, under the direction of music teacher, Melynda Caswell.

The Hamilton High Jazz Band performed at the HHS Spring Community Breakfast Tuesday, March 28th.  The Jazz Band rehearses after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and is directed by Mr. Patrick Naylor.

Hamilton High’s AP Art students proudly displayed a sampling of their art work from this school year at the HHS Spring Community Breakfast. AP Art teacher, Mrs. Melissa Dornan, spoke to those in attendance about this program’s successful first year.

On Friday, March 31, while others had vacated the school for Spring Break, the gym was alive with the sound of music, as the audience enjoyed the performances of the HHS Winter Guard, under the direction of Mr. Richard Hansen and Ms. Olivia Small and HHS Indoor Marching Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Robert Saurber and Mr. Jacob Gibson.  The Hamilton Jr. Guard also performed a show they have been learning in their weekly after-school practices.

On Saturday, April 1, the HHS Winter Guard competed in the Mid-East Performance Association (MEPA) Winter Guard Championships at Wright State University’s Nutter Center, where they finished in 4th place in the Scholastic AA  bracket.

On Saturday, April 2, the HHS Indoor Marching Percussion Ensemble achieved a personal best score at the MEPA Percussion Scholastic A Championships held at the Nutter Center at Wright State University. This group will finish their season on April 20, at the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships at the University of Dayton.

Saturday, April 8, 1:30 pm: HHS Show Choir, Rhapsody in Blue will finish their competition season as they perform in the Wapakoneta Music & More competition.
