GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT – STACY WAGERS BABER

GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT:  Stacy Wagers Baber, graduated from Hamilton High School in 2000.  She joined the United States Air Force and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.  She also received her Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2006.    She has received many awards including 53 TMG Engineer of the Year, 28 TES Flight Commander of the Year, 53 TMG Chief of Staff Team Excellence Award, and the AFMC STEM Research Management Award.

USAF Major Baber also completed Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, and Air Command and Staff College.   She has researched and procured $1 million in chemical and biological facility labs and equipment needs while stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.   She is currently the Director of Operations  at Eglin Air Force Base where she leads 175 personnel in operations, maintenance, and missions of Eglin’s ground test capabilities.  She oversees 21 test and special projects, schedule, metrics, critical exercises and training conducting 210 missions a month.

Stacy lives in Florida with her husband and two children.
