The Big Blue NJROTC Athletic Team took an overall first place in the Princeton JROTC Athletic and Field Meet. Competing against eight other JROTC units from Ohio and Indiana, Hamilton took first place in four out of ten events!
Under the leadership and guidance of Cadet Commanding Officer, Jaycie Lyttle, our Cadets took first place in Push-ups, led by Micah Bridge, Juan Solórzano and Rosalita Ortiz; the Viking Challenge; the Sprint / Sit-up / Sprint and the Senior Chief Challenge. The cadets took second place in Corn Hole and the 1600 Meter Run, third place in the 4X4 Relay and fourth in the tug of war.
First year student Dakota Anderson was the unit’s MVP after an overall first place finish in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:36, passing several teams to get Hamilton in 3rd Place to stay in the 4×4 relay and a strong involvement in the Senior Chief Challenge. Bravo Zulu to all who participated.
