In case you missed the action packed week leading up to homecoming here’s a quick recap:
All week HHS had a spirit week to get excited for the homecoming football game.
There was Tie-Dye Tuesday, Black-out Monday, Tropical Thursday, Disney day and Spirit day.
On Wednesday, the 5th, girls who signed up for powderpuff football geared up for their game at the Virgil Schwarm Stadium at 7. There’s still junior and sophomore t-shirts left over in the Athletic Office for $10. Grab a t-shirt to remember the junior victory against the seniors 19-0.
The next event was on Friday. At 5:30 students gathered at the Hamilton Freshman building to walk in the homecoming parade prior to the game at 7.
Big Blue took on Princeton and came home with a victory 21-14. Among the festivities was the announcement of homecoming king and queen. The king was Alvin Mantey and the queen was Taylor Lewis.
Saturday was a fun filled night at the homecoming dance to cap off a great 2016 Homecoming experience.
