The Armed IDR drill team, commanded by Junior, Emily Duff, earned a third place finish.  In the knockout drill competition, Senior Deyonte Tipton won first place in Armed Drill, while Junior Emily Duff took first place in Unarmed and second in Armed Drill.  The competition added a Brain Brawl (Academic Quiz Team) exhibition competition with Hamilton under the leadership of Senior, Deyonte Tipton took first place.  Well done to all and Bravo Zulu!

On Thursday, 11 October 2018, four members of the Hamilton HS NJROTC unit presented the colors for the annual George Brown Dinner at the Queen City Club for the Cincinnati Chapter of the U.S. Navy League.  The guest speaker for this year’s event was the Under Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Thomas Modly.  In this capacity, Secretary Modly is the Chief Management Officer and Chief Information Officer of the Department of the Navy, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.  Also in attendance were numerous representatives from several businesses in Cincinnati as well as many active, veteran and retired service members.  Presenting the colors and pictured with Under Secretary Modly is (left to right), Junior, Micah Bridge; Senior and Unit Commander, Jaycie Lyttle; Senior and Unit Executive Officer, Rebecca Combs; and Junior Michael McFarland.
