A Miami University art student joined Miss Pflueger's social studies class to share an art lesson integrated with social studies! The students learned about symmetry while discussing who explorers were and what they did. They got to build a boat to demonstrate symmetry!
October is now officially Socktober at Ridgeway! Six boxes of socks were collected by our Ridgeway students for Hamilton community! Thanks to all those who dontated!
Students and teachers both loved parading around the school and showing off their costumes! Our wonderful office staff dressed as bucket fillers to demonstrate how important it is to fill other's buckets and bring kindness to people around you!
Students in Mr. Arnold's class created candy towers for a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lesson. They worked in teams to make the tallest towers they could using candy pumpkins, candy corn, and toothpicks!
Fifth grade students worked together to come up with their own strategy to find volume using cubes and building boxes! Students love building on their own and learning from one another!
